Green Bay Mass Balance Study (1989-90)

The Green Bay Mass Balance Study piloted the technique of mass balance analysis in understanding the sources and effects of toxic pollutants in the Great Lakes food chain.

Lake Michigan Mass Balance Study (1994-95)

The Lake Michigan Mass Balance Study measured PCBs, mercury, trans-nonachlor and atrazine in rivers, the atmosphere, sediments, lake water and the food chain.

The Great Lakes Environmental Database (GLENDA) provides long-term storage, access, and analysis capabilities for environmental data on the Great Lakes to meet the needs of scientists, policy makers and other users.
