2007 Source Apportionment Workshops
The IES Program held workshops in New Delhi, India on December 10 and 11, 2007, and in Hyderabad on December 14, 2007. The main objectives of these workshops were to share methodologies and results of the source apportionment study conducted for the Hyderabad Urban Development Area (HUDA) with policymakers and technical staff in India; to discuss the impact of the Hyderabad Action Plan in terms of local and global emissions and other co-benefits; and to begin to explore how future interventions and incentives in critical sectors (transport, power, and industries) may improve both urban air quality and mitigate climate change in India.
