This meeting would have also given an opportunity for the public to provide input and discussion on the draft assessment and charge to the peer review panel prior to external peer review for the following chemical:

Meeting Documents:

For 3 new chemicals, EPA has prepared draft literature searches and associated search strategies, evidence tables, and exposure response arrays for these chemicals to obtain input from stakeholders and the public prior to developing the draft IRIS assessments. Specifically, EPA is interested in comments on the following:

The literature search strategy, which describes the processes for identifying scientific literature (referred to as a systematic review of the scientific literature), contains the studies that EPA considered and selected to include in the evidence tables. The preliminary evidence tables and exposure-response arrays present the key study data in a standardized format. The evidence tables summarize the available critical scientific literature. The exposure-response figures provide a graphical representation of the responses at different levels of exposure for each study in the evidence table.

For 1 chemical, EPA has recently released a draft Toxicological Review and draft charge to the peer review panel for public review and comment. EPA is interested in comments on these documents prior to the external peer review of this assessment.

The chemicals and associated materials under discussion include:

ethyl tert-butyl ether (ETBE) - Chemical Manager: Keith Salazar

tert-butyl alcohol (tert-butanol) - Chemical Manager: Janice Lee

hexahydro-1,3,5-trinitro-1,3,5-triazine (RDX) - Chemical Manager: Louis D'Amico
