There are so many wonderful Linking Girls to the Land projects going on at the local level with councils and federal and state natural resource agencies. We think it’s important to recognize these projects. In an effort to track local LGTTL projects, especially those not being funded by the LGTTL Council Grants, this web page is designed to provide links to local Girl Scout council websites or collaborating agency websites that feature articles or highlight Linking Girls to the Land projects.
If you work for a Girl Scout council or agency that would like to see your Linking Girls to the Land project highlighted and linked on this web page, please get your local Girl Scout council or agency partner to create a page on their website summarizing the project. Be sure to include the Girl Scout council name, state, estimated number of Girl Scouts served, and collaborating federal or state agencies as well as photos. (Remember to have photo release forms signed for any Girl Scouts featured in photos on your web page.)
Then, email the name of the Girl Scout council, State, Name of the LGTTL Project, estimated number of Girl Scouts served (if known), and website link featuring the LGTTL project to Linkinggirls@girlscouts.org. We will put this information into the table below. Thanks!
