Through LMOP, EPA works with investor-owned, municipal, and cooperative utilities, as well as other energy providers, marketers, and end-users to make landfill gas (LFG) energy an important part of their competitive strategy. These power companies and organizations join the program by signing the LMOP Energy Partner Memorandum of Understanding.
