- AVRRDD is a municipal solid waste district incorporated under NH RSA:53B. There are ten municipalities that are members of the District. AVRRDD purchased the Mt. Carberry Landfill in December 2002 from the local pulp and paper mill. The District installed an active LFG collection system in 2007 and went online in October 2007. They are presently working on developing an LFG pipeline to the local paper mill.
