Description: APAC-KS, Inc. Kansas City Division owns and operates a C&D landfill with a 25 well gas collection system. LFG is collected and piped to an APAC-KS, Inc. Kansas City Division Hot Mix Asphalt plant where it is burned by the hot oil system circulation heater. This heater heats and maintains temperatures needed to keep the asphalt compound hot and flowable. This process eliminates the need to burn fuel oil and/or natural gas to run the hot oil heater.
