- Description
- The Blue Ridge Landfill Methane Initiative has a goal of developing LFG energy projects at seven landfills in seven counties. Gas is to be used for glass furnaces, pottery kilns, heat for greenhouses and county office buildings, microturbine fuel, and electricity generation on and off the grid. One project completed in 2001 and a second to be completed in 2002/03.
