Description: ENVIRON provides state-of-the-art scientific, engineering, and strategic risk management assistance to an international client base. Established in 1982 in Washington, D.C., the firm now has more than fifty regional offices throughout the United States, U.K., Europe, and Asia Pacific. ENVIRON's roots in engineering and risk assessment facilitates their development of solid waste management strategies that are cost-effective, consistent with the current regulatory climate, and protective of public health and the environment. Specific areas of expertise include: landfill engineering; site remediation; risk assessment; landfill closure; evaluation of LFG and leachate migration; design and implementation of monitoring plans; gas collection, treatment, and utilization system design and construction; and leachate collection and treatment system design and construction. For LFG and LFGE projects, ENVIRON provides consulting services related to due diligence, field testing, selection of recovery and utilization systems, cost-performance optimization, design, construction supervision, operation assistance, and monitoring. All of these services can be streamlined to optimize RECs, CERs, and/or VERs.
