Description: Green Energy Partners, LLC (GEP), formed in 2007, provides consulting, project development, and technology transfer services for alternative energy projects throughout the southeastern United States. They focus on several different areas of alternative energy generation, both mature and emerging technologies, including biomass, solar thermal, bio-fuels, and waste-to-value. GEP hopes to help combat high fuel prices, greenhouse gas emissions, and dependence on foreign oil by investing in a variety of processes and technologies that use renewable resources to produce electricity, steam, natural gas, and/or transportation fuel, thus reducing the use of expensive, unsustainable, and potentially dangerous fossil fuels. GEP is focusing on several different methods to achieve this goal, including biomass combustion, LFG extraction, anaerobic digestion, solar, thermal technology, and various methods to produce bio-fuels such as bio-diesel, bio-butanol, and green compressed natural gas.
