Description: Jackson County Green Energy Park utilizes LFG and other renewable energy resources to bring additional economic development to their community. Facilities currently include two glassblowing studios, three blacksmith forges, a metal foundry, 7,500 square feet of greenhouse space, and a wood-fired pottery kiln. LFG Energy project details: 3/4-million ton, closed, municipal landfill; county-owned and operated business incubator; LFG collection system and blower flare in place.
