- JEA's electric system currently serves more than 335,000 customers in Jacksonville and parts of three adjacent counties. JEA's water system serves 170,000 water customers and 127,000 sewer customers, or about 83 percent of the total water and sewer utility customers in Duval County and parts of an adjacent county. JEA, a Climate Challenge Partner, is involved in two LFG energy projects.
