- King County Solid Waste Division, under a lease agreement with Bio Energy, LLC (WA), operates an LFG energy project at its Cedar Hills Regional Landfill in Maple Valley. This LFG energy project has the processing capacity of ~10,000 scfm LFG to produce about ~4,500 scfm high-Btu, pipeline-quality gas. The landfill has a design capacity of ~60 million tons and will be able to produce up to 12,000 scfm LFG for the next 30 years.
