- Lee County Solid Waste Division (LCSWD) serves the waste needs of Lee and Hendry Counties in FL. LCSWD operates a waste-to-energy facility as well as the Lee/Hendry Landfill (LHLF). The LHLF has approximately 1 million tons waste-in-place (10 million cubic yard total capacity) and receives the bypass waste from the WTE plant currently at 500 TPD. LCSWD also holds the gas rights for a closed Class 1 landfill in Lee County.
