Description: NLGC provides clients one-stop financial, technical, and legal support, including monetizing tax credits and environmental attributes (e.g., RECs) and general capital formation. NLGC has been involved in well over $1 billion of renewable energy transactions since 1996. NLGC is a member of Carbon Finance Strategies, LLC (CFS) which pre-qualifies commercial and utility-scale solar PV projects to investor-grade standards; marshals financial, technical, and construction resources to help get them built; and directly develops select projects. CFS has special expertise meshing solar installations with landfill permit and operating constraints. CFS managed development of the largest ground-mounted PV facility on a hazardous-waste landfill in the United States, and is a renewable energy consultant to bond-rated government transportation authorities.
