- Plainville Generating Company, LLC owns and operates a 5.7 megawatt LFG energy power plant adjacent to the Plainville LF in Plainville, MA. The plant has seven CAT 3516 natural gas engine/generator sets. The plant has been in operation since March 2003 and has enjoyed many achievements made by its staff to improve the efficiency of its operations.
