- Questor Technology specializes in the clean combustion of low heat content waste gases. The technology delivers a measurable 99.99 percent combustion efficiency with no visible flame, black smoke, or detectable odor while reducing greenhouse gas emissions and is therefore an improvement in overall air quality over conventional flaring. In addition, it offers the benefit of minimizing footprint and hence reduces the environmental impact and costs associated with lease development. Significant goodwill benefits accrue by addressing residents' concerns over flaring and air quality. Additionally, the waste heat generated is recovered and converted to useful heat or power using an organic rankine cycle (ORC), hence unlocking the value in the flared gas, without requiring expensive gas conditioning. This is a cost-effective sustainable solution.
