- West Central Landfill is owned by Shasta County and operated by the City of Redding. The landfill, which is in compliance with all current emissions regulations, has no gas collection and control systems in place. The County is currently considering options to install a GCCS prior to regulatory mandate and pursue development of an LFG energy project.
