- SHEC Energy Incorporated's mission is to provide the world with an inexhaustible source of clean, renewable energy by harvesting energy from the sun to produce economically viable sources of energy. They have developed the world's most efficient solar receiver that can be used to produce electricity, supply process heat, provide desalination and sterilization of water, and alternative fuels including hydrogen. They also can bridge the gap to use hydrogen as a fuel in internal combustion engines today. Presently they are working with the City of Beaumont, Texas to convert methane from a municipal landfill into hydrogen and hythane to power fleet vehicles. They will be creating their own electricity to power their compressors, pumps, etc., thereby reducing the need to use fossil fuels for the creation of electricity.
