- SMMPA is a municipal utility comprised of 18 small municipal utilities throughout Minnesota. They partnered with the East Central Solid Waste Commission to install a 1.6 MW LFG energy facility (expandable to 3.2 MW) at the landfill located near Mora, Minnesota. They have completed the engineering and permitting phases and physical construction will begin in September 2010 with an anticipated completion date of March 2011.
