- Description
- The Tennessee Valley Authority, a corporation owned by the U.S. government, provides electricity for 9 million people in parts of 7 southeastern states. Since 2001, TVA has been purchasing LFG generation from the Middle Point Landfill near Murfreesboro, TN. The site provides 2.2 MW of renewable generating capacity and about 10,000 MWh of energy on an annual average basis.
