- WCA Waste Corporation has 22 active landfills, five with gas collection and control systems. Currently, they have one LFG electricity project and one direct-use project on line. They expect to have another two electricity generating projects and one direct-use project become operational in 2012. They are also actively evaluating another four LFG energy projects.
