Office of Prevention, Pesticides, and Toxic Substances (OPPTS) Chemical Library Services
EPA has committed to reestablishing a Headquarters and Chemical Library by September 30, 2008 to complement existing library services. More information is available in the Update on EPA's Library Network - March 2008 news item.
For more information about this transition, contact Brion Cook at (202) 564-0970.
Borrowing Policy and Interlibrary Loans
Borrowing privileges are limited to other libraries.
To locate EPA library and repository materials, you can search the Online Library System (OLS), EPA Libraries' online catalog. If you have any questions, please call or e-mail the Research Triangle Park Library.
Information For Other Libraries: We freely share materials with other libraries via the OCLC Interlibrary Loan system. The Chemical Library's OCLC symbol is EJE, but requests should be sent to the Research Triangle Park Library (OCLC symbol EKB). We are members of FEDL (Federal Libraries and Information Centers) and LVIS (Libraries Very Interested in Sharing). For libraries that do not have OCLC access, please contact the Research Triangle Park Library for alternate methods.
