Health & Education

NIEHS’ Health & Education Web site offers a wealth of information on environmental health, specifically the research understanding how environmental exposures affect health.  Information is available on a long list of environmental health topics, including diseases, environmental stressors, and exposure routes.

National Environmental Health Association (NEHA)

NEHA e-Learning

The National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) is now offering NEHA e-Learning, a free online education tool.  More than 80 different courses in 13 tracks are featured from top environmental health experts.  Courses cover topics such as onsite wastewater, indoor air quality, food safety, emerging pathogens, and all hazards preparedness.

Toxipedia is a modified-wiki Website that offers a free toxicological encyclopedia written by experts and edited for accuracy.  It is a Website and a tool for public health professionals, students, and the public to use and educate one another.
