RESERVATIONS:
Please make your hotel reservations by calling the Hilton
Raleigh Durham Airport Hotel at (919) 941-6000 or 1-800 HILTONS.
Make sure you indicate that you are attending the Atmospheric
Science Progress Review Meeting, and give the reservationist the
room block name "EPA STAR." THE ROOM BLOCK WILL BE IN EFFECT AT
THE GROUP RATE UNTIL Wednesday, May 30, 2007,
ONLY. Please note
that reservations must be cancelled at least 72 hours prior to
your date of arrival, or you will be charged for 1 night's room
and tax. Please Note: Participants will need to find their own
transportation from the hotel to the EPA Main Campus and from
the EPA Main Campus back to the hotel.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE HOTEL:
From Interstate 40E:
From Interstate 40E and take Exit 282, which is Page Road. At
the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right and then make an
immediate right onto Creekstone Drive. There is a Sleep Inn at
the same turn. Follow the driveway until you are at the entrance
of the hotel.
From Interstate 40W:
From Interstate 40W and take Exit 282, which is Page Road. At
the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right and go through the first
stoplight. After the light, make the first right onto Creekstone
Drive. There is a Sleep Inn at the same turn. Follow the
driveway until you are at the entrance of the hotel.
From Raleigh Durham International Airport:
From Interstate 40W and take Exit 282, which is Page Road. Turn
right at the bottom of the exit ramp and go through the first
stoplight. Turn right onto Creekstone Drive and follow the
driveway to the hotel entrance.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE EPA CAMPUS:
Turn left on Holiday Drive (Old Page Road) toward Creekstone
Drive. Turn right onto Creekstone Drive. Turn right onto Slater
Road. Slater Road becomes NC-54. After about 2 miles, turn left
onto TW Alexander Drive. Go 0.6 miles and turn left at the
entrance sign for the EPA Research Triangle Park campus. Pass
the National Computer Center on the left; follow signs to the
Main Campus entrance on the right. Enter building C through the
main entrance (diagonally across the courtyard from the flag
poles). Check in with the guards to obtain a visitor badge and
sign in. The meeting will be held in the auditorium.
You must present a picture ID to enter the EPA Main Campus. All laptops will be checked upon your arrival at the security desk.
