A call for papers has been issued for the 6th Annual
Green Chemistry & Engineering Conference. Abstracts
must be submitted by February 1, 2002.
Papers may be submitted for both oral and poster
presentations in any area of green chemistry or engineering
research, education, or industrial case studies, such
as greener solvents, catalysis, benign synthesis and
processing, bio-based synthesis and processing, designing
safer chemicals and materials, process design and
measurement, and modeling/computational methods, and
should be related to the following global challenges:
· Reduction of toxics in products and processes
· Climate change
· Water and resource depletion
· Energy
· Food
Presenters are requested to address the environmental, economic,
and social benefits of the technology in their abstract and presentation.
Abstracts must be submitted on a standard ACS Abstract Form, which
