| Purpose: | This is an EPA STAR Progress Review Workshop that features the research of EPA STAR grant researchers supported under two solicitations: “A Regional Scale Stressor Response Models for Environmental Decision-making” and “Consequences of Global Change for Aquatic Ecosystems: Climate, Land Use, and UV Radiation.” Presentations of research objectives, study methods, and anticipated results will be made by 11 principal investigators who are developing regional-scale models to investigate the interactions of multiple stressors on the health of aquatic ecosystems. In addition, four principal investigators will present assessments of the consequences of global change for aquatic ecosystems and water quality.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide principal investigators the opportunity to demonstrate progress made since the grants were awarded and to facilitate interactions between these principal investigators. The following groups are encouraged to attend: EPA STAR grantees; EPA scientists; EPA program office, research, and regional staff; and other federal agencies. |
