| Title: | Preparing Successful SBIR Phase I Proposals |

| Purpose: | The Federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs provide over $2 billion dollars a year to small companies developing leading-edge technologies that are of interest to federal agencies. Specifically, these programs fund up to $850,000 in seed capital for companies developing innovative technologies with commercial potential.
This workshop will provide an overview of the SBIR/STTR programs and strategies for preparing a successful proposal. The workshop will be presented by nationally recognized SBIR proposal writing consultants, The Greenwood Consulting Group. Participants will also have the opportunity to speak with Agency Program Managers, including Jim Gallup of the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency, as well as past SBIR/STTR award winners. |
