| Purpose: | The objective of this interagency nano grantees meeting is to highlight the latest research results on a variety of engineered nanomaterials. Grantees from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), and the National Institute of Environment Health Sciences (NIEHS) will present research results exploring the potential effects these materials may have on human health and the environment. A secondary objective of this meeting is to facilitate communication among stakeholders in this area and to stimulate researchers and other involved in this area to consider the potential environment impacts of their work. The grantees presenting at this meeting were awarded through EPA's Joint Nano solicitations with other agencies. |
