Title:	Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I Solicitation Workshop

Purpose:	EPA is participating in an SBIR workshop for Nevada small businesses. The workshop is designed to relay information about how to apply for contracts under the Small Business Innovation Research programs at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the US Department of Transportation (DOT). Participants will meet with James Gallup, SBIR manager for EPA and Joseph Henebury, SBIR Manager at DOT, to find out about their technology needs and funding opportunities. The workshop is being hosted by the Nevada Small Business Development Center at the University of Nevada, Reno. EPA SBIR research topics include innovation in manufacturing, nanotechnology, green building. drinking water and water monitoring, water infrastructure, air pollution, biofuels and vehicle emissions reduction, waste management and monitoring, and homeland security.
