The National Sustainable Design Expo is open to the general public.

The National Sustainable Design Expo features EPA's P3 (People, Prosperity and the Planet) competition which supports teams of college and university students to design and build sustainable projects and technologies. Forty-two P3 Phase I teams will exhibit at the 2010 Expo. Teams that won a Phase I grant in previous years will also exhibit their projects to highlight the progress they have made since receiving the P3 Award and associated P3 Phase II grant of $75,000.

In addition to the P3 team projects, government, nonprofit, and for-profit organizations may exhibit their sustainable technologies, designs, and ideas.

Date and Location:
Saturday, April 24, through Sunday, April 25, 2010
National Mall, Washington, DC

A large tent between 4th and 7th Streets will serve as the exhibition area for the Expo.
