2014 National Sustainable Design Expo Exhibitor Guidelines and Application

Join scientists, engineers, college students and sustainability leaders at the 10th Annual National Sustainable Design Expo, April 26-27, 2014. This year's Expo and the U.S. EPA’s P3 Student Design Competition are co-located with the USA Science & Engineering Festival (USASEF) at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C.

As an Expo exhibitor, you will have many unique opportunities:

  • Showcase your organization’s work to thousands of people at the largest STEM education event in the United States.
  • Network with nonprofit, government and business leaders in sustainability.
  • Raise your organization’s brand awareness and profile as a sustainability leader.
  • Enjoy pre-Expo and onsite coverage in local and national media.
  • Learn about the cutting-edge solutions to real world environmental problems designed by college students.

Expo Schedule:

  • Friday, April 26, 2014 (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.) – Load-in and setup time for exhibitors participating in the VIP Preview
  • Friday, April 26, 2014 (5 p.m. to 7 p.m.) – VIP Preview (Participation by exhibitors is optional but strongly encouraged)
  • Saturday, April 26, 2014 (9 a.m. – 6 p.m.) – Expo is open to the general public
  • Sunday, April 27, 2014 (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.) – Expo is open to the general public
  • Sunday, April 27, 2014 (4 p.m. – 6 p.m.) – P3 Award Ceremony and Reception
  • Sunday, April 27, 2014 (6 p.m. – 11 p.m.) – Exhibitor tear-down and move-out

Exhibit booths must be staffed at all times while the Expo is open to the public.

How to Exhibit

There are two types of exhibit opportunities – one for nonprofit organizations and one for federal sustainability programs.

Exhibit spaces are still available on a first come, first serve basis.
