Title: From Field to Fuel Tank: Exploring the Implementation of Biodiesel as a Sustainable Alternative to Petroleum Diesel in Oregon's Willamette Valley
Can local agriculture support a change to biodiesel fuel in the Willamette Valley?
Using raw materials from local farms, this pilot project will demonstrate the successful production and use of biodiesel on the Oregon State University campus. The researchers will also identify the technical and social factors critical to full-scale implementation of biodiesel production and use in the Willamette Valley.
