Title: Adoption of Alternative Energy Sources in Chico, CA: Facilitating an Action Plan
The goal of this P3 project is to develop a strategy to generate solar power locally and facilitate a transition to solar power and other renewable energy sources in the Chico, Calif. area. The North Valley Renewable Energy Group is a new and growing nonprofit partnership between California State University, California State University at Chico, community and government agencies, businesses, and activists in the Chico area. Together, all parties hope to facilitate progress towards renewable, more environmentally sensitive sources of energy in the community.
