Title: Production of Natural Plastics in Wastewater Treatment
The University of California team will develop a technology to produce plastics from municipal wastewater treatment processes. A pilot scale system will be operated at an existing wastewater treatment plant, followed by development of design and operational criteria for a full scale system.
