Title: Combining Innovative Renewable and Native American Technologies in the Design of a Sustainable "Outdoor" Classroom
Florida Gulf Coast University students are developing an outdoor classroom model that integrates Seminole Tribe chickee building design with innovative renewable technologies that decrease life cycle costs. The team will measure the results based on capital and operating costs, and the carbon footprint of the outdoor classroom versus a traditional classroom.
