Title: Development of a Recyclable Nanosheet Heterogeneous Catalyst for Continuous Biodiesel Synthesis Utilizing Waste Grease as Feedstock
South Dakota State University students are developing a recyclable heterogeneous catalyst for continuous biodiesel production using local waste grease, recycled oil, and potentially algae. The goal of this project is to expand on the feedstock used to produce biodiesel that reduces dependency on nonrenewable sources and toxic exhaust emissions.
