Title: BioWinol Technologies: A Hybrid Green Process for Biofuel Production
A team of students from Oklahoma State University will perform laboratory studies to determine the ability of two unique strains of bacteria to produce the biofuel, ethanol, from hydrogen (H2) and carbon dioxide (CO2). The H2 is generated using a technology that depends on several renewable resources, specifically biomass, wind and solar. This process can also capture the requisite carbon-dioxide (CO2) from other industries.
