Title: Biofuel and Bioenergy Production from Sugar Beets
A team of students from University of California, Davis will design an integrated, efficient industrial scale system that will produce ethanol and biogas from ground sugar beet. They will also develop an engineering design and operating manual for the production system. If successful, this activity will have a positive economic impact on beet farming.
