Title: Chameleon Automated Residential Energy Management System

A team of students at the Missouri University of Science and Technology will test the efficiency of the “Chameleon Automated Residential Energy Management System” compared to a similar house without the automated system. The Chameleon home is equipped with sensor suites that allow for inside and outside readings of temperature, humidity, solar intensity, lighting levels, wind speed and direction and fluid flow. The objective of this project is to prove that the “Chameleon” system is more energy and cost efficient for the residential house.
