Title: Harvesting Potable and Storable Water with Moringa Seeds and Sand
A team of students at The Pennsylvania State University will design and build a process for collecting, purifying, and storing water for developing countries. Moringa seeds have been used to purify water in the past, but there has not been a safe method to store the purified water. The team will develop a process to transfer the purification properties of the Moringa seeds to sand and use the property activated sand to purify the water.
