Sources, Composition, and Health Effects of Coarse PM Grants Kickoff Meeting
Thursday, May 8, 2008 - Numerous questions exist regarding the health effects, heterogeneity, composition, and sources of PM10-2.5 characteristic of specific locations and comparisons between locations, especially rural versus urban areas. EPA’s National Center for Environmental Research, Science To Achieve Results (STAR) grantees will meet to discuss research plans, methods, and early results with scientists from EPA, state agencies, other federal agencies, and industry. Presentations will summarize the objectives, study methods, and anticipated results of research projects.
