One Tribe’s Climate Quest
The Swinomish Tribe tribe crafted a bold climate adaptation plan after seeing signs that climate change could compromise coastal food resources, water supplies and their health. The tribe outlined dozens of actions—including improved management of stormwater and forests and development of aquaculture—to maintain coastal resources, lower wildfire risk and protect infrastructure.
