Exposure Research
EPA exposure scientists present research at 21st Annual ISES Conference
Posted: October 2011
A diverse group of EPA's exposure scientists participated in the 2011 International Society of Exposure Science (ISES) Conference.
The 2011 meeting was held in Baltimore, Oct. 23-27, and featured symposia, workshops, platform discussions, and poster sessions on topics ranging from nanomaterials to research on air quality near roadways.
EPA kick-started the conference Sunday with a workshop on Pharmacokinetic Modeling, followed by 11 symposia, 7 platform sessions, and multiple poster presentations throughout the gathering.
The ISES Conference is an annual, international event for exposure scientists, engineers, and policy makers. Participants come together to share the latest developments in exposure science and discuss its role in human and environmental health.
