TAD Branch Chief Speaks at Two European Meetings
Ralph Cooper, Chief of the NHEERL Toxicity Assessment Division's (TAD's)Endocrine Toxicology Branch, attended both the 7th World Congress on Alternatives and Animal Use in the Life Sciences in Rome, Italy, August 30 to September 3, 2009, and the 37th Annual Meeting of the European Teratology Society, in Arles, France, September 6-10, 2009. Dr. Cooper was an invited speaker at both meetings and participated in symposiums and debates as well. In Rome, he presented his talk entitled "Establishing an Extended One-Generation Study at the OECD Level -- Success and Challenges" and, in Arles, "Current Developments in Reproductive Toxicity Testing of Pesticides: The Extended One-Generation Reproductive Toxicology Protocol."
