Agencywide Projected Annual Energy Intensity, FY 2003-2015
This line graph shows EPA's historical Agencywide energy intensity in British thermal units per gross square foot (Btu/GSF) for reporting laboratories from FY 2003 through FY 2009, and projected energy intensity through FY 2015, compared to annual energy reduction requirements included in the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPAct 2005), Executive Order 13423 (and reinforced by EO 13514), and the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (EISA).
This graph does not net out green power purchases.
