Tribal PWSS Program Allotments
Every year, Congress appropriates funds to assist eligible states, territories and Indian tribes in carrying out Public Water System Supervision (PWSS) programs. The funds set-aside to support tribal PWSS programs are allotted among EPA's Regional Offices, which in turn are responsible for managing a tribal program in their Region.
