* Completion of Enforceable Consent Agreement (ECA) test requirements means submission of study reports to EPA and acceptance of those studies as adequate by EPA. As of July 2008, two ECA Tier 1 studies have been submitted and accepted as adequate (acute toxicity and acute neurotoxicity) and PBPK studies (to improve the route-to-route extrapolation model that will be used in Tier 2 of the ECA) have been submitted and are in program review. The studies and revised model are in Docket # EPA-HQ-OPPT-2003-0010. The ECA Tier 2 studies that remain to be submitted are subchronic neurotoxicity and reproductive toxicity. In addition, three extrapolations of oral study results to the inhalation route for subchronic toxicity, subchronic neurotoxicity, and reproductive toxicity will be submitted using the revised route-to-route extrapolation model. |
