Step 1: Submit an application and fee to EPA.

Step 2: Make sure your employees are trained in Lead-Safe Work Practices.
- Find a training provider in your area.
- Access a calendar of training courses for RRP and other programs.

- If your employees completed certain lead-safe work practice training prior to October 4, 2011, they may be eligible to take a four-hour refresher course instead of an eight-hour initial course from an accredited training provider to become certified. See a list of eligible courses.
Step 3: Once you receive your EPA Lead-Safe Firm Certification in the mail and logo instructions in your e-mail, feel free to use the logo on your advertising materials.
