CPG IV/RMAN IV
CPG IV designated an additional seven products that are or can be made with recovered materials. In addition, CPG IV revised the designation for three items. RMAN IV provides EPAs recommendations for purchasing these items containing recovered materials. Background Document for the Final Comprehensive
Procurement Guideline (CPG) IV and Final Recovered
Materials Advisory Notice (RMAN) IV (PDF) (146 pp, 444K)
The document provides a comprehensive summary of all
supporting analyses used by EPA to issue the final CPG IV and
the final RMAN IV. The document explains EPA's overall
objectives, the process for designating procurement items,
and the methodology used in recommending recovered materials
content levels for those items designated in the CPG IV. In
addition, it lists the recommended procurement practices for
designated items and provides EPA's detailed response to
public comments received on the proposed CPG IV and draft
RMAN IV
